What to Expect at Restorative Summer Camp

Expect the authentic camper experience!

We’ll be filling as many bunks as we can (6-12 per cabin, 12 cabins). The 12-person cabins are 576 sq feet, and have a comfortable amount of communal space. The 6-person cabins are approximately 200 sq feet. The area can get a little chilly at night, so prep with a couple of extra blankets and perhaps some cozy pajamas!

The food will be prepared by our kitchen staff team. We will be collecting any and all information about dietary restrictions and allergies prior to arrival to accommodate your needs.

In terms of hygiene, expect to shower in the bathhouse. The bathhouse was built in 2020 and is in good shape. It has two single stall toilets, four “regular stalled” toilets, and eight showers, two of which are ADA accessible. The showers are double curtained, meaning that they include a small area to put your belongings while you shower, that is separated by a curtain on either side. The bathhouse is located centrally.

Bathhouse

There is potable (well!) water throughout camp, and bathrooms in or nearby every building. There are also pit toilets as you move away from main camp, which are handy in a pinch.

Campus is a short 15 minute drive from Saratoga Springs, if you find that you’ve forgotten anything or need some Taco Bell. Please reach out if you have any questions about Stomping Ground’s facilities.
